The UKSF(V) was founded by current serving members of the UK Armed Forces and use this experience to produce authentic and immersive game play .

 

We play small scale, cooperative, Special Forces themed missions with emphasis on communication and teamwork. We also operate within the "Exile" mod on a very good public server and utilise our skills within a PvP environment.

We are a casual group and aim to conduct one operation per week and conduct training sessions as required. As we will be a casual group our operations and training will be flexible. We understand that home and family life come first and we will not have any hoops to jump through to remain a member, all we ask is you at least stay active in the Steam Group page.

The group is in its infancy and as such are looking for new members to fill roles from command positions down. It may take a while to get our membership to the required number, so untill then we will be looking to establish a "Command Group" of founding members which will be the bedrock of the community. 

We operate self hosted but dedicated game and Teamspeak servers.

As our community grows and we have enough members to justify a financial commitment, we will commit to dedicated externally hosted servers.

We do not have "Basic Training" or an exhaustive list of courses that must be completed. If you can play the game and have the right attitude, all you have to do is pass Selection. 

To complete UKSF(V) Selection you must first fill in the application form below and join the Steam group page. We will then arrange a chat over Teamspeak. All being well, you will then be given a place on the next available Selection course.

Selection is intended to asses basic game play but more importantly, your attidude. You will be assesed by our Directing Staff (DS) and succesfull canditates will be offered a role in the relavant Unit. Moving on from Selection, new members will be expected to complete community specific and specialist training. However this will be flexible and at your own pace. No pressure.

We have a rank structure but this is only relavent to command appointments In-Game and to reward members for active service. At no point will you be expected to call someone by their rank.

Selection is open for the SAS and JSFAW

Candidates are required to:

 

Strict over 18 Policy (No exceptions)
Have a working microphone
Have a working knowledge of the game and controls (Although help is available)
Speak good English
But above all, be enthusiastic!
