The Special Air Service (SAS) are the main fighting force of the community. Working in small teams, members utilise stealth and support assets to carry out operations. Members should aim to be masters of their craft, disciplined and motivated. Some of the tasks the SAS carry out include, Strike Ops, High Value Target kill or capture, hostage rescue, long range patrols and calling in precision air strikes. The SAS  will specialise in airborn operations and all succesfull candidates will complete High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) training.
